Farmhouse Style Christmas Tree Decorations

Are you looking for ideas on Christmas tree decorations for your rustic home decor? What about a Christmas tree farmhouse? Look no further than a Christmas tree farmhouse! These unique homes offer their owners the perfect environment for crafting their own rustic home decor. Let’s take a look at some rustic home decoration ideas to help get you started:

Rustic decor can be created in any room features: a cozy living room, a rustic kitchen, a beautiful porch or a cozy bedroom. Your imagination is the limit when creating a rustic home decor theme. The farmhouse room features a classic farmhouse touch with a few modern twists:

The rustic centerpiece of this Christmas tree farmhouse decorating idea is the staircase. It is adorned with a staircase made out of cedar shake, painted with an evergreen holiday scene on each face and topped with four gorgeous iron garlands. The rustic garland makes the stairs come to life and really sets off the look of this unique cabin.

The rustic spiral staircase comes decorated with a beautiful 12 ft. wreath on each face. The wreath is decorated with white pine cones in various Christmas scenes. To add a festive touch, we used pink and green faux snowflakes as runners along the stairs. The rustic look of the wreath and the running thread work to create a warm and inviting festive touch to the entire room.

We also placed three small trees on either side of the staircase to bring it all together. The tiny trees are adorned with colorful balsam fir garland. The garland is tied with a white bow and topped with a small evergreen pine cone. These three small trees help create a cozy atmosphere. The addition of a few plush pillows gives it all the finishing touches.

The final touch to our Christmas Tree Farmhouse Style Decorating idea is the beautiful cozy corner hut. It is decorated with pink poinsettia garland and a small round pink and white star cluster. The warm color of the pink poinsettia and star combination creates a warm and inviting cozy corner for family and friends to gather around. This is a great addition to the farmhouse decor because this is a great place for the whole family to spend time together and enjoy each others company.

To complete this look, we made a hole in the front of the home near the front door for the smoke stack. We hung three rustic farmhouse style lanterns from the rustic farmhouse beam with a pair of outdoor hanging lamps hanging below them. There were plenty of empty wine glasses lying around the house for guests to fill with their wine and have a good time chilling out on the porch. And the last touch to this festive pillows and lanterns was a large pair of old worn cowboy boots sitting on a big rustic rug beside the three rustic farmhouse pillows.

I hope you had a great holiday season and I wish you well on your next decorating project. For more great ideas on decorating click on my website link below. You will find many beautiful rustic and cozy living room decor ideas just by browsing through my many galleries. Enjoy!

For our Christmas tree, we decided to use traditional farmhouse garland to surround our tree. Traditional farmhouse garland was either handmade or made from scratch in my moms’ old woodshop. The wonderful part about this rustic farmhouse decor was that there were so many different types of garlands to choose from. My mom chose to make us some garlands that matched the rest of our entire home decor perfectly. Then we gathered up all of the old and extra decorations that she had to hand make. She spent hours cutting and gluing and I made little homemade tags with a message and a heart for each one.

I made the tag and heart myself using a little bit of leftover Christmas ribbon that I cut and laminated it onto a magnet paper strip. Once it was done, I attached it to the wire frame of the traditional farmhouse living room table and viola! We now have a rustic living room with the traditional farmhouse decor. The table is now decorated with Christmas ribbons and Christmas ornaments.

For our new living room, I decided to try out some more contemporary style. I found a beautiful piece of farmhouse glass called a mullion tabletop. I cut and shaped it with my butter knife and added a rustic twist by inserting several chunky knit pillows into the tabletop. I still used the same wood fabric that I had used to create our old fashioned chunky knit pillow cover, but instead added more colorful pillows. These pillows really made a statement in our living room. I think they would look great in a modern rustic home as well as a traditional farmhouse theme.
